Hi Mr. Winfield!!! First off, I want to say thank you. I am such a huge baseball fan because of you. You are my very favorite player from the first time I went to Yankee Stadium & the Baseball HOF as a 3 year old (in 1983). We would head down to the Bronx for one game a year from then on, & I always looked forward to watching you play. I know I was in awe every time that I walked into the "real" Yankee Stadium & saw the field. What did it feel like for you (as a player) to walk out the same tunnel & on to the same field as some of the other Yankee greats? Personally, (even when the Yanks were losing), it's always been the true "Happiest Place on Earth".

Mr. Winfield is the reason why I'm such a huge baseball fan. And I want to thank him for that!!!
