I remember watching a number of them! Here are a couple I recall off the top of my head where I was actually playing in the game when it happened:
Sweet Lou Whitaker and Alan Trammel broke the record for the longest double play combination.
Eddie Murray joined the 3000 hit and 500 HR club (can you name the other 3 who have done it?).
