The rapport between fans and players is the reason why baseball will always be the national pastime. It's the only American sport one can literally love; because the game is synonymous with the players.
Including all that awesomeness, its an all inclusive game. It is fan driven, it is community connected, it is awesome for age 0-112, its the memories and the memorabilia. The people and the presence, the fans and the players and the announcers. The pitch, the swing, the catch, the crack of the bat and the power in that slide, its the pickle between fourth and home...its that "its going...going...goi...Oh AND ITS GONE!!!!!!" energy, and the roaring crazy crowds!
Oh man and the legends, whether it be about a single player, a quarrel or feud, or an entire team like the A's and their white elephant, there is so much awesomeness to baseball... Good question!!!!
