I spoke to V Tek on the phone once. His cousin waited on me in a restaurant in Savanna, Georgia. I had my Red Sox hat on. She said, "my cousin plays for the Red Sox." I asked who and she told me V Tek. I think my response was, "Get out!" About ten minutes later she came back with the restaurant phone and said, "Hey, someone wants to talk to you." Now, I don't know if it was him or not (I like to think it was) but whoever it was - he was a kind, gracious, and fun guy.
