My favorite #TBT moment used to be my 1st game that my grandfather took me to where I saw Carl Yastrzemski hit a HR. That was over 40 years ago. Now it falls 2nd to a local Tincaps MLB game where I got to take my grandchild to her 1st game. She's too little to understand it, but I'll be able to remind her and keep introducing her to the game my family loves!
My fondest #TBT memory was going to see my first MLB game with my Dad in Baltimore!
We got on a bus waaay early in the day and drove 8 hours up there. Saw the whole city for the day and the moment I walked into the ball field I was in love. Best game alive!
Adam Kennedy hitting 3 bombs vs. the Twins to help clinch the pennant in 2002. Late ticket release allowed my cousin and I to witness that magical day.#TBT
In 1991, I was 9 yrs old when we took a Family trip cross country from Delaware to Chicago to Colorado. We attended games at Wrigley field and Comisky Park (II). We also drove right by Three Rivers Stadium and Royals Stadium. I can remember being able to see the Waterfalls in the outfield and just wishing we could've went to a game there. It was quite a grueling ride for my brother and I but the frequent Denny's stops and baseball shrines on the way made it bearable. Oh yeah, i think we were visiting grandparents... #TBT #Royals #PaulKonerko@TheRealJGuts@MLBPAClubhouse
My fondest #TBT memory was getting to throw out the first pitch at an Asheville Tourists game back in 6th grade to some Rockies Prospect named Todd Helton. It was the last game I ever got to go to with my Dad. That ball is probably my most prized possession on this earth.
My #tbt moment was last year when my best friend and I watched the Reds play the Diamond backs in Arizona. I used to love baseball and even coached little league but trauma made me lose many years of memories and baseball was something I didn't like for many years because I couldn't remember anything about it. I'll be forever thankful to my friend for bringing back some of my memories and my love for the game
My favourite MLB #tbt moment would be when nyjer morgan (t-plush at the time) hit a walk off single right back up the middle to win the Brewers game 5 of a 5 game series vs the D-Backs to advance them to the NLCS vs the cardinals. The atmosphere was intense and the crowd was electric, still get goosebumps thinking about it. We stayed an hour or so after the game just cheering. I was so pumped😆Best Game Ever! ⚾️
My favorite memory is taking my son to his first baseball game. It was a Las Vegas 51s AAA game. We made a son, "Baby's first game," so that we could score him a ball. Which we did. It was a fantastic day.
For me it was getting to see the Tigers at their Spring training camp in Florida. It was my first time ever attending a baseball game. Being from Detroit it was amazing to fly down there just to see them play. I got two balls during batting practice before the game. Afterwards I waited around and got them signed. It was the greatest way to see my first Tigers game! I love baseball but didn't grow up in a sports family. #TBT #Royals #PaulKonerko
Game 7 - 2011 World Series St. Louis Cardinals win - was watching with a great group of friends, had a blast, then went to the victory parade a few days later #TBT
