The catcher should be the smartest guy on the defense.

I've talked 2 Tiger catchers they said,"You get used to it" (squat) Also get hit a lot and have to know all players & what type of pitch is best. And have to be insinque with each of their teams' pitchers

Catchers are the most under-rated player on the field. They shud be reveered like pitchers are.
